About
The Wildwood Crest Dolphins Swim Team is a separate entity from the Wildwood Crest Recreation Department. As a USA Swim Team in a resort area, we are structured a bit differently than a typical year-round competitive team.
Our Summer Session is where we train for fitness and fun. Many USA Swimmers, affiliated with other teams, join us for the summer or even a week. Many good friendships have formed over the years among our USA Swimmers from all over. With no meets, we are swimming for fitness and fun.
Our Competitive Season is where our local athletes compete during the season with USA Swim meets throughout the Middle Atlantic Local Swim Committee. We also host some intra-squad meets for our swimmers who prefer not to travel.
The team has 2 fully certified USA Swimming coaches. We take USA Swimming guidelines very seriously, and encourage prospective swim parents to familiarize themselves with USA Swimming's philosophy and guidelines.
